Example of statistical tests

The results of the statistical tests performed here are shown by letters. Lower case letters, upper case letters and bold type are used to indicate the different levels of significance. To note: Daisie has automatically applied tests on percentages to the variables Sex and Marital Status, and tests on the mean to Age.

Introduction

Statistical tests enable you to interpret tables quicker. In Daisie, statistical tests are managed like calculations. Since Daisie knows what kind of variable it is, it can automatically apply the appropriate test (Chi-Square test or Student T-test).

The user has control over the number of thresholds, their value and their representativeness.

The tests are performed on the modalities of the variables (cells in the body of the table) or on the variables (cells on the headers / footers of the table).
