DAISIE, smooth and quick data processing soft-ware, efficient both for ad’hoc studies and for complex and repetitive surveys. The ergonomics of the soft-ware is designed to get results as simply as possible, with a minimum of manipulations.

Integrated
DAISIE includes automatically surveys, whatever are the sources of data and the fieldwork : phone (CATI), Internet (CAWI), face to face (CAPI) or paper questionnaires.
Powerful to make a query
To build tables in passing. Automatic memorization of queries makes focus or process with new data easier.
Additional variables
Great flexibility of creation of new variables by transformation of one or several variables with automatic management of labels . The possibilities of calculation and layout are unlimited.
Statistical wealth
All calculations of descriptive statistics based on variables or on tables : frequencies, percents, cumulative values, mean, standard-deviation, mini, maxi , mode, median, indicators and statistical tests based on Chi2 or Student. Good management of bases of calculations.
Weights
can be calculated on margins or on cells of tables. Both weighted and unweighted calculations can be shown in results. Several weighting are possible in a same study.
Open questions
Simple open ended questions can be coded directly in Daisie. Post coded questions are simply added to the closed ended.
Analysis
such as correlations, regressions, factorial analysis, segmentations, are perfectly integrated.
Output
Page set-up are possible through style sheets, and so are conditional formattings. Results can be exported in Excel ou pdf files, and individual data in ASCII or TripleS.
Study management
Besides the functions of import, merge, export, Daisie included a multi-study management allowing to process simultaneously a group of waves, or a family of studies.
Script mode to automate process
Interactive mode or script mode can be chosen. Interchangeable, both are the ideal tool to automate repetitive as trackings for example.
